The DPA 4099D is a miniature DPA microphone with mounting for various drum and percussion instruments.
Perfect for PA amplification and live recording of drum and percussion instruments, the 4099D offers practically unlimited placement possibilities as well as a sound that is considerably more natural than an internal microphone or pick-up.
The unique and flexible clip-on system provides fast, stable and repeatable positioning. The mics can be easily positioned at different angles via the flexible gooseneck to fit different drums and allow a variety of sound nuances. The 4099D includes a 3-pin XLR phantom power adapter.
The 4099D unveils a revolutionary new “90 degree” system which provides many more mounting options. By detaching the clip from the gooseneck and re-mounting it turned 90 degrees, the number of mic positions is doubled.
