'The Wedge' is a highly-capable all-round cardioid studio condenser mic from Violet Designs. Designed with a slight mid-range presence (though natural-sounding) the unidirectional capsule helps to capture off-axis acoustics. This results in a more open sounding reproduction than other more established mics.

The large gold-sputtered diaphragm captures solid bass frequencies, whilst maintaining clarity at the top-end of the frequency range. A great addition to the studio engineer's mic store!

The Wedge comes supplied in an velvet-lined wooden case and comes with matched mic clip. As with all Violet Design products,The Wedge also benefits from Violet's 5-Year Warranty covering component or manufacturing defects.
