The TLM103 is an industry-standard vocal condenser with a fixed-cardioid pickup pattern. With a capsule based upon the world-leading U87, this mic is tonally very neutral through low and mid-range frequencies, with a 4dB presence peak around 6kHz. Some would argue that this is a perfect modern vocal mic. Certainly it is heard on a daily basis on radio transmissions worldwide.
