The Beyerdynamic MCE 86S II Cam is a bundled shotgun mic with all the necessary accessories to connect to a video camera 3.5mm external microphone connection. Includes suspension and foam windshield.

The MCE 86 II shotgun microphones can be used for video recordings, lecterns or theatre applications. The microphones are extremely light and rugged and therefore ideal for mounting onto cameras or camcorders. They can be used for outdoor applications and in studios with fish pole booms or as handhelds.

The electrostatic transducer element and the hypercardioid/lobe polar pattern results in an excellent polar pattern with high sensitivity. Due to its construction and integrated active filter the microphone is insensitive towards wind and vibrations caused by zoom motors. The MCE 86 II S can be phantom powered or battery powered with an integrated 1.5 V battery. The mic has an electronic balanced output, allowing operation with long cable runs.It also includes an On/Off-switch and battery condition LED. The average battery expectancy is 80 hours. 

The MCE 86 S II CAM includes an elastic suspension EA 86 with BS 86, a foam windscreen WS 716 and a short connecting cable for direct camera mounting, an ideal solution for consumer cameras.
